Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 build 20190813 Rel. 39581

Just bougth and installed M5 Deco mesh in my house.

Got some Raspberry Pi working on AIS, ads-b, sondemonitor and some more.

M5 does not recognize or register the Raspberry Pi 3B+ in network - even if I'm able to connect rpi to the network.

Not Blacklisted. The same with my Dlink camera. Everything was working fine with old AP (Asus).

Been searching forum and knowledge base but no specific statements on this.

@labyrint

Hello,

May we confirm if the LED on the Deco M5 is solid green and do you have internet access on other computers or phones when they connected to the M5 wireless network?

To he honest, we are not that familiar with the Raspberry Pi 3B+ and we may not suggest further, but you may confirm if it can get the correct IP address from the Deco M5.

For the D-LINK camera, you may also confirm if it is configured to use a static IP address and it may not be in the same IP range of the Deco M5, it is suggested to reset your camera and reconfigure it to connect to the Deco network.

Thanks.

Hi, Everything is green. Had to clean up the dhcpcd.conf file on the RPi. The old settings was still there (also) and clogged it all up. The D-Link camera is worse. It has limitations in IP and the default settings on the M5 is out of range. Don't have the patience to reconfigure the M5 :-)
