5Ghz Connectivity Issue
Hi! I bought TP Link router C6 AC1200 V2.0 (US) and TP Link extender RE200 AC750 V4.0 (UK). Both have OneMesh feature also smart connect. Also both of them upgraded to latest firmware. Now the problem is the RE200 cannot find 5Ghz network from my router. The only way it can if in my router i set the 5Ghz channel to 36/40/44/48. Doing this all my device can find 5G but my Samsung S9 cannot. Anyway you can help me?

Hello,
As per your description, it seems that the RE200 V4.0 (UK) only support band 1, while your Samsung S9 only supports band 4, so if you fix the channel on the C6 to make a connection with the RE200, your Samsung S9 may fail to work.
If your smartphones can only work with 5GHz band 4, you need to get the RE200 US version as well.
It is suggested to contact your reseller to replace the RE200 with a US version if it is still running the TP-Link official firmware.
Hope this makes sense and thanks for your understanding. Have a nice day.

Anyways this time I have ordered RE220 from Amazon US. I hope my problems will be solved.
