Hi, for the issue, hopes the below answer can help you.
Normally speaking, archer MR600 has 2 × Detachable 4G LTE Antennas and Antenna Interface type (on the antenna) is SMA-M.
The two external antennas are 4G LTE antennas, which are different from ordinary wireless device’s antennas. This antenna is mainly used to receive 4G signals from ISP by auxiliary SIM card. In principle, it’s not recommended to replace them, because the antenna is only used as an auxiliary, and the strength of 4G signals mainly depends on SIM card and ISP.
Secondly, if you think that the 4G antenna of the prototype is not good enough to receive signals and insists on changing the antenna, please confirm the below information:
1). If you want to change, you must change two antennas at the same time, and the two replacement antennas should have the same specifications, because the two antennas work together. If you only change one of them, it will not achieve the desired effect, but the effect may be worse.
2). For the replaced antenna, the interface type needs to be matched. The interface type of the two external antennas is SMA plug, that is SMA male, not ordinary RP-SMA.
3). The frequency range supported by the replacement antennas should be the same as the original antennas. It should be 700-960MHz&1710-2690MHz.
4). The distance between the two replacement antennas shall not be less than the distance between the original antennas.
Good day!

Good day. Thank you for your time and patience. I am really sorry that we did not test the extennal antennas with MR600, so there is no available model recommended.
Normally we did not recommend customer to replace the original ones; but in case that customers do want to have a try, we would provide the above information for his refence when trying to find the suitable antennas.

@boarinidenis I purchased an external antennae with 10m of cables (and SMA plugs). It was not cheap - about 100 quid off Amazon. However it moved my RSRPO from -115dBM to -96dBm and the SINR to well above 20 dB. The speed on the reception went from about 30Mb to 120Mb down and 2Mb to 15Mb up. It was also on a 10 m pole. Might be expensive but it sure as hell made the modem perform way better.
