Model: TL-PA7020 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have 4 new PA-7020 (1.000 Mbps) and then work perfect

And I also have 2 old PA201 (200 Mbps)

I have 2 questions :

1) can I "add" a PA201 to the network of PA7020 ?

I have tried without success, so I need to know if its my fault or just a hardware incompatibility

2) if not, can I use the 2 PA201 in a "slow" network, living together in the same power line with the "fast" network of 2 PA7020 ?

Thanks.

@sebastia.net

Hello,

Per you said, all the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other.

Which adapter did you use to be the main adapter? TL-PA7020 or TL-PA201?

Please try to use PA7020 as the main adapter, then press the PAIR button to pair them, here is a FAQ you can refer to:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/258/

You can use all the TL-PA7020 as a network, and use PA201 KIT as a network. It may be better to use in this way.

May it help and have a nice day!
