IMAP port 993 blocked after installing Deco X60
I just installed the new X60 (3 pack) and put it in router mode. It's connected via ethernet to our old TPG supplied HUAWEI modem router HG659. I have deactivated the WLAN/wifi on the HG659 so there is only the wifi network generated by the X60. Everything seems to be working ok, all our devices are operating fine, but my laptop (Apple MacBook Pro) is now not able to establish SSL IMAP connections (for 3 providers: icloud, gmail, and gmx). I figured out that the IMAP port 993 is closed or blocked.
I managed to resolve this by switching the X60 from "Router" mode to "Access Point" mode in the Deco app's Advanced settings under Operating Mode. Now the IMAP port 993 seems to be open again, but I lost the additional Deco functionality. I'm not sure what NAT does or if I need it. I don't need the Parental Controls, but I thought the HomeCare intrusion / antivirus detection could be handy, and that's not available anymore in Access Point mode.
Any advice how I could unblock / open port 993 for IMAP connections while keeping the Deco X60 in router mode? Thanks.

Hello, thanks for your suggestions and for asking.

@TP-Link_Deco - is this new firmware generally available now? How do I upgrade my TP-Link Decos with this new firmware?

@TP-Link_Deco - Also, I have the TP-Link X20. Will there be a separate FW update for that model? I notice your link has "Deco_X60" in its name, so I'm guessing that firward update is only for the TP-Link X60. The X20 has the same problem.

Hello,
The previous download link I posted is only for the Deco X60, if your model is Deco X20, here is the beta firmware you may give it a go and there is a guide in it, which will tell you how to upgrade to this version:
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202009/20200904/Deco_X20_V1_1.2.5_Mac_IMAP.zip
Sorry that the official firmware is not available yet, we will release it in the near future.

@TP-Link_Deco Had to wait a day before I could update the firmware to the beta version. Since COVID19 kicked in, my private network at home has been upgraded from hobby to mission critical system with both of us working at home and two kids studying from home. Tonight my "stakeholders" gave me permission to update :-) Update whent smooth, no issues, straight forward. So far, but it has be just a short while, no email problems. Will report back later on.
