Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.10.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190521 Rel.38696n

Since around a week or so I have a weired problem with my internet connection through a 4G SIM-card in a TL-MR6400 router.

 

Certain websites won't load (e.g. dropbox.com, some news websites), while others are just fine. I have the same problem on multiple different connected devices (Mac, iOS, android), and also some news apps won't load new data.

Interestingly, when I try to access the same websites through my work proxy connection, they load just fine.

 

I installed the latest firmware, switched off parental controls of my internet provider ... no luck.

 

Any suggestions?

What if you put the 4G SIM card on your phone and enable the hotspot on the phone to let the Mac/iOS/android to connect, then check if you can load those new websites or apps?

 

If the issue persists, you may need to contact your SIM provider and check what's wrong on their side.

Good point, should have thought about that myself.

The problem persisted even using the SIM-card in a phone, and using a differn SIM in the router solved the problem.

So the problem is not on the side of the router.
