Archer MR600(EU) V1 - BETA Firmware - Allowing selection of 4G+bands for Archer MR600 manually
Hi all,
Following the long thread on the same subject discssing the BETA FW, as I said I would, TPLink have given me permission to share the FW download llink.
From TPLink - We recently released a beta firmware for Archer MR600(EU) V1 which can allow us to select 4G+bands for Archer MR600 manually.
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202004/20200420/Archer_MR600v1_1.1.0_0.9.1_[200417-rel75138]_up_boot_2020-04-20_08.44.31.zip
For Archer MR600, if you want to use its 4G+network, your SIM card should support the CA bands group Archer MR400 supports. Please check the attached picture and check if your SIM card supports the band groups on the list or not.
They asked me to state that, this BETA FW is for the Archer MR600(EU) V1 ONLY!
Neither TPLink nor me take any respnsbility if you flash a none-EU router.

Is that means we are stuck with this beta firmware? It seems no final firmware will have band selection. Haizz..

Could you make a last firmware for v1:
- with band selection, like 66940
- without problems at power on (66940 very often starts but doesn't work, even WiFi! Does it need a longer start reset?)
- without problems in data counting reset (in 66940 it is ok; in other builds, total data count is not set to zero at the end of the month!)
You should only put together the working blocks...
Thank you!
Gianluca

MR600 V2, the official firmware all you to choose any particular band or combination of multiple bands, basically it Checkbox.
But band agreegation will be decided by network based on the band you choosen and signal strength.
Only advantage by choosing band is, for example in my case Band 40 very good download speed where as upload in KB from the tower in my location , where as Band 3 and 8 are average in both uplpad and download where it can not agreegate. so you need decided based on your location and network signal.
