Archer MR600(EU) V1 - BETA Firmware - Allowing selection of 4G+bands for Archer MR600 manually
Hi all,
Following the long thread on the same subject discssing the BETA FW, as I said I would, TPLink have given me permission to share the FW download llink.
From TPLink - We recently released a beta firmware for Archer MR600(EU) V1 which can allow us to select 4G+bands for Archer MR600 manually.
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202004/20200420/Archer_MR600v1_1.1.0_0.9.1_[200417-rel75138]_up_boot_2020-04-20_08.44.31.zip
For Archer MR600, if you want to use its 4G+network, your SIM card should support the CA bands group Archer MR400 supports. Please check the attached picture and check if your SIM card supports the band groups on the list or not.
They asked me to state that, this BETA FW is for the Archer MR600(EU) V1 ONLY!
Neither TPLink nor me take any respnsbility if you flash a none-EU router.

Hi any one of you using the external LPDA Antenna's are you aware of HLF400 cables, how's its compared to LMR400, HLF400 seems very cheap, from router to the pole its almost 12 meters, suggest me the best one to go for? oxywave LPDA with LMR400 on amazon is the pricier one. Suggest me which one to go for?

@AkashDev hey Akash,
LMR400 from times microwave will be costly. Regular HLF400 chinese made should not be a problem till 10 meters. 12 meters in your case is acceptable. But dnt go beyond that. If you go beyond opt for LMR600 and thicker copper tube will run longer.
Regarding antenna, please check my post on page 24 of this forum thread.

@Abhi093 Hi Abhi, your post on Antenna is very informative, thanks for that. i stay in city, there are multiple towers in a KM radius. but omnidirectional antenna's are hard to find. So for now i will opt for LPDA antenna. is HLF 400 par with LMR400 upto 10 meters, then i can manage with 10meters. I have another question, is it necessary that there should be dual LPDA Antenna's to be plugged in for MR600 or 1 LPDA is enough?

Hello to all,
I'm Jose from Spain, despite having an external MIMO antenna I'm having problems with the connection because in my area the only band that doesn't seem to be saturated is B7
but it doesn't always connect to that band, could you send me the new firmware?
Thanks and sorry by my english
