Hi,

Just bought the new WPA4220 Kit today and followed the instructions. I can connect to the extender wifi, but there is no internet connection.

a. All lights on the smaller unit - bright solid

b. All lights on the extender - bright solid

c. My internet works fine - I am able to send this mail through my wireless router.

d. Tried WPS and and non-WPS mode of syncing, gave me the same results.

Please assist.

Please ensure that you can access internet from the main router with the same LAN cable and LAN port.

With your computer connected to the TL-WPA4220, please click here to get the IP address and gateway. Try to ping the gateway of the main router and show us the ping results.

You can hard reset the TL-WPA4220kit by holding the reset button and re-pair them to give it a go.

The details as follows:

Wi-Fi is connected to TP-Link_E242 and has the IP address 192.168.0.100.

gateway: 192.168.0.254

PING 192.168.0.254 (192.168.0.254): 56 data bytes

Request timeout for icmp_seq 0

Request timeout for icmp_seq 1

Request timeout for icmp_seq 2

Request timeout for icmp_seq 3

ping: sendto: No route to host

Request timeout for icmp_seq 4

ping: sendto: Host is down

Request timeout for icmp_seq 5

ping: sendto: Host is down

I have tried the hard reset as well, didnt help.
