Archer MR600 - 4G Bands selection
Echoing millions of others request, where is the update firmware to choose specific 4g bands?????!!!!!??????
and also on 4g+ bands tο choose 2 bands together????
Without this function, this router perform so badly that sharing hotspot via smartphone yield similar result. Why do people still buy this product? (Yes, if you have not yet bought this product, DON'T)
And guys, people did research before they bought this product. Imagine what your customer will think when they realize this issue before their purchase? Do you still think people will choose your product while others like Huawei is readily available?
Please put this on first priority. We have been patiently waiting for months.
Thanks.

I blindly bought MR600v1 considering my previous experience with TP-Link products. Believe me this is my worst experience with TP-Link. Though this product doesn't support airtel/jio CA 40A They lied to all saying it does support 4G+ (CA) and selling this product in India. TP-Link is not ready to provide firmware update as well.
Here after I will not consider taking TP-Link products and will not recommend others to take it.

Hi Scruffy, Indian 4G operators CA mode is not supported by this MR600. TP-Link is not ready to implement this. Please see below.

An issue I'm having with both the beta firmware and the latest stable release is that the router is not reestablishing a connection when the service is interrupted. It takes a reboot to get service back.
Network: Free, France
Band A: 28. Band B: None.
Hardware version: Archer MR600 v1 00000001
Firmware version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200417 Rel.75138n

@Kevin_Z Hi Kevin,
Yup, that's what he has, although he's now back on the latest stable release for the V1 as per the advice of your technical support, but the breaks in connection continue two to three times per day. I can also confirm about 30 other owners of MR600s on the 'free' 4G network in France who have exactly the same problem, on both the latest stable release and latest band-selecting beta. That said, the latest beta is definitely the best, but they're all getting really fed up with the situation of breaks in connection requiring a reboot and I don't think there's any solution without intervention on your part at a programming level.

I recently bought Archer MR600 V2. I don't see any option to select multiple bands for 4G+.
My question is, will 4G+ simply work without us configuring anything or do we need to select any 2 bands for 4G+ to work.
I can see there is one beta firmware available for MR600 V1 in the forum but did not find any for V2.
Could you please confirm on this.

@Denarius yes correct but I don't see 4G+ light blinking in my case. Any way to find if carrier is supporting 4G+ in nearby BTS? I am using Jio and I can see it is only connected to B40 as of now. I thought Jio is having 4G+ in most of the places in India.
