Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: TL-WA854RE

I bought a tp-link repeater model "TL-WA854RE" 3 years ago.

After my move; I had to change internet provider and suddenly, I forgot the connection key and the password that I used in my old address.

By taking out my wifi repeater because I saw the connection is not good, I can no longer use it because it asks me for a key, and when I key my current modem, it refuses (wrong password )!

What to do in this case, because I have the impression that it requires the password of the modem that I used in my old address and that I no longer have?

@Atak

Hello, cause you changed a new ISP and adjusted the current wireless password, you need reconfigure it with the new password to make it work.

First, you need hold the reset button/hole for 10s to hard reset it.

Then you can login to the web UI to configure it. Below is the instruction:

https://www.tp-link.com/nl-be/support/faq/698/

Note: Please set it up with the new wifi password.

May it help.
