I have the same problem too with a VR400 V2. How do I get the new firmware to fix this please?

@Sekino

Good day,

Did you have v5 of TL-MR3420?

 If yes, please have a check of your message box and try to update the beta firmware.

Thank you very much.

@Rob_W

Yes, we do have a beta firmware for address reservation and please check your message box as well.

Thanks a lot.

@Sunshine

Hello I've started experiencing exactly same issue with VR900 with 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0069.0 Build 171128 Rel.42667n which is the latest. Can a fix be made available for my model too?

Edit

I have since found that there is a beta available for my VR900 (ArcherVR900(AU)_V2_200728) << This is what it says on the modem admin UI but on the back of the modem, it is labelled as VR900 (EU) V3

https://www.tp-link.com/au/support/download/archer-vr900/v2/#Firmware

Should I go ahead and try this?

Thank you.

@HideM

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Just want to confirm, was your current firmware ArcherVR900(AU)_V2_200728, or you haven’t updated to this firmware since the label was EU v3?

 Note:  There used to be a Transition software which could help update EU v3 to AU V2 in order to support VLAN: Archer VR900(AU)_V2_171128

And once you had updated to this firmware,  you could updated to both ArcherVR900(AU)_V2_200728 and ArcherVR900(EU)_V3_200708 later.

And these two firmware is almost the same, if you are already on one of them, there is no need to update the other.

Thanks a lot.

Hi @Sunshine

Yes, the firmware was shown on the admin UI firmware section as ArcherVR900(AU)_V2_200728.

I am sorry I have already gone ahead and applied 'Archer_VR900V3_0.5.0_0.9.1_up_boot(200708)_2020-07-08_18.09.49.bin' and it now looks like the below.

AND it is still greyed out the reservation list when there are 9 records in there. (I removed one record and was then able to add one back in)

Would you suggest that factory reset the device and start fresh? If so, should I then first upgrade to the latest V3 non-beta version and then upgrade again with the beta version? I would look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you
