Make sure you have Internet access with this router. Test whether you can access from a remoter computer by WAN IP address of the router: port number.

Same problem here.

When connecting via 4G/LTE, port forwarding does not work. Switch same modem via Dashboard interface (connect 4G directly to usb port on pc and use modem build in software to configure 4G modem not to autodetect but to 3G only) and plug back into TP-Link 3420 v2 and Dyndns and Port Forwarding works. Connect via LTE and dyndns and Port Forwarding does not work anymore. Same modem - different protocol Bug lies with Tp-Link Firmware.

Please correct this. I have now loaded Openwrt and all is well. I hope that Tp-Link will fix this soon as for I want the original Firmware on my device.

Same problem here! It cost me 2 days of error searching until I found this topic here that the problem is the firmware. Port Forwarding and Dyndns are not working for MR3420!!!

Has this bug been fixed already, or should I buy some other brand?

I'll need to have an access to my security computer at remote location where 3G is the only Internet connection. Having dynamic dns would be critical.

Hi.
Can you login the web page of the router, and then post the screenshot about Status, Virtual Server and Dynamic Dns pages?
