Model: RE200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20190731 Rel. 41250

I've noticed that my AC750 RE200 range extender overheats sometimes. I currently use an amazon echo device, my phone, my laptop (not usually active) and my ps4 (also not usually active) on the network. It cools down slightly when the ps4 isn't being used, but it's still warm. I've checked that my power source is fine to use and isn't causing any problems. I haven't had any connection issues yet but I've heard of some having issues with them when they overheat too much. Can anyone tell me why? What should I do?

@benand_idk

Hello, below is the related information about RE200. You can test the actual temparature if possible.

Environment Operating Temperature: 0°C~40°C (32°F~104°F)
Storage Temperature: -40°C~70°C (-40°F~158°F)
Operating Humidity: 10%~90% non-condensing
Storage Humidity: 5%~90% non-condensing

Besides, it is suggested to plug it into the wall socket directly and locate it in an open area.

May it help.
