Firmware Version:

The RE200:V5.0 AC750 Mesh Wi-Fi Range Extender only supports the Band 1 channels, is not supporting Band 4 Channel due to this reason it is not able to pick-up/ connect on the 5GHz network. I have TP Link Archer C24 router and currently using on Auto Channel but if change it to Band 1 Channel the Range Extender is able to connect on 5Ghz Network but on band 1 channel cellphone was not able to connect to 5Ghz Wifi.

Is there any way that I Can update firmware or anything else that help me to connect my RE200 Extender on Band 4 channel.

Thanks

Hi,

To be able to use band 4 you would need to obtain an RE200 whose serial number label reads "Model: RE200(US)".

The designated region can only be set in the factory. It can't be changed by the customer.
