I set up two seperate networks. One with a single M5 and another one with a mix of M5 and P7.

I received notification on both network of the M5 firmware update but then when I checked for update only the M5 network downloaded the update not the mix network.

 

Please see files attached.

Hello, try to connect the M5 to the main Deco P7 by wired cable to update the firmware. 

 

If it still the same, you can setup the Deco M5 as the main Deco first and update the firmware via Deco APP. Instruction attached as below:
