Archer c6 "no internet access" and sometime not connecting to the wifi saying "limited connection"
I've faced basiccally two kind of problems. Am I received a faultly product?
- Sometimes in some of my connected devices showing "no internet access" but at the same time the other routers connceted with same internet have internet access.
- Sometimes Some device could not connected to the router but the wifi are showing in the list. After some time of tring it show "limited connection" even I'm setting beside the router.
Every time at the time of problem I instantly connected to my another router which is tplink TL-WR841N, connected to the main WAN and that was working perfectly. Archer c6 is connected with the WR841n with wire and dynamic IP setup.
The problem always fixed every time after restart the router. I need to restart the router almost two to three times a day which the other one is on from long time. I've even forgot when I've turned off my WR841N.
Does I've received a faulty archer c6.

Hello,
I am sure that problem is firmware. Two weeks ago I installed OpenWrt on router instead of original firmware and now everything works fine (LAN, WAN, WiFi 2.4 and 5GHz).

Hi,
exactly. Led becomes Orange. I changed DNS to Google one. Connection is more stable now, but sometimes this "minute" dropout occurs again. I think 3-4 times per day.
My ISP is Orange Slovakia.
thanks.

IPS is Lithuanian CGates. Internet is really stable. Before the archer c6 router, I had an archer c2. On a c2 router, everything is fine. Internet cable is new cat 5e. With beta firmware, the router has been working normally for 4 days

If the connection is still unstable, try to upgrade the beta firmware I posted on #49, then confirm, thanks.

I have been trying to find a stable solution for 2.4 Ghz wifi for months now. This latest beta has problems too! 20mhz, 40mhz, auto, channel 1,6 or 12. Nothing changes. I'll throw this router out as soon as possible.

After updating fw i have killed this router.
Never ever TP Link...
Installed beta, nothing changed.
Fw from 2018 was awesome, but you ruined this Archer c6 with new fw.
5GHz unstable, every 30 minutes wifi not working for 1-3 minutes.
Goodbye tp link...

@SubhX respected member I was facing this problem and my connection was repeating to be restored and disconnected. It was very annoying and troublesome. I am too unable to understand about this technical issue, I am using this router of tp-link to manage my business website over the internet, thank you!
