Today I saw the AX20 frontend design for it.. it's look awesome.

Think that AX6000 deserve a bealtiful, clean and stable firmware like that!

Hi everyone, both glad and sad to see I'm not the only one led (potentially even 'misled') by the promise of OneMesh and the forever "Coming Soon" tag on the OneMesh compatibilty list. I originally learned about OneMesh after buying a RE650 extender for my garage (my first TP-Link product). Back then it had a "Coming Soon" tag for OneMesh, but since then the "Coming Soon" compatibility for RE650 has switched to a V2.0 hardware version. I searched around and don't believe V2.0 is even a thing yet (please correct me if I'm wrong). I then bought the expensive C4000 (V3.0) and got misled again as it dropped from all OneMesh compatibilty lists one-by-one (except for the Czech one, which thankfully got me a refund: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/218568). I'm now up to AX6000, but starting to lose my patience. If things continue this way, I'll push for a refund on all of my TP Link devices (AX6000, RE650 and RE305) quoting lack of promised functonality and opt for a different ecosystem that isn't based on a feature with an endless "Coming Soon" status and no indication of a timeline. It feels like a major screw-up on the side of TP-Link that committed to release a OneMesh feature to a range of products, only to drop them one-by-one after realizing they can't actually pull this off.

@devitus I know exatly what you feel.. I bought AX50, One day that I noticed that it's will receive OneMesh firmware.. day after I bought, it's dropped from the compatibility list.

I made another mistake and bought AX6000.. still waiting! Let's see if they will bring some news.. 

I think that anyone important with real power inside the company know about our sed insatisfaction about it.. 

@ghl I gave up and bought an Orbi. Best decision yet. 

Did anyone find that the https://www.tp-link.com/en/onemesh/compatibility/ has changed the description and the logo of "coming soon" changed to "planned"?

They say that the compatible device list will be updated regularly and the information of planned models is "only for reference"; TP-Link reserves the right to modify this page at any time without notifying the user.

Does it mean tp-link do not gaurentee the onemesh for AX6000?

@tvfan o-oh, that's not good. IMHO, time to use this change in narrative to justify refunds on existing devices from local resellers and jump ship to another brand. Thanks for spotting this and bringing this up!

@King_Wilson which version did you end up getting? The older one or the new Wi-Fi 6 Orbi Mesh? How's range? Do you think it'll break through 2 thick brick walls and reach a satellite unit 20 meters away based on what you've seen in terms of range so far?

@devitus I purchased the Orbi WiFi 6 ax4200. One satellite. My home is roughly 2500 sq ft. Great signal strength throughout. Placement was key as I have a large brick central chimney. Through brick I'm unsure. Might be problematic. 

@King_Wilson thanks! I'm thinking of getting the older version but a few more nodes instead for more coverage. All key hardware is wired with Ethernet cables already anyways, so it's more about reliable connection at lower speeds for me than blazing wireless speeds throughout. Rly appreaciate the tip ;)

@Kevin_Z  any statement about the change of the OneMesh compatibility list?
