Please I need assistance on how to access my router and attached storage device remotely. Also do I need to update the firmware to improve its function?

Hello, the current firmware is the latest one already. Below is the download link of the firmware for TL-MR3620.

You can refer to the instruction below to enable remote management.

Note: The steps are the same, and please ensure that the internet IP is public IP address.

You can use ftp via internet to access it remotely also. You can login to the web UI and go to advanced-USB settings-USB storage Device page to enable it.
