MR6400(eu) can't work with 700MHz(28 band)

Model: TL-MR6400
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.7.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 181214 Rel.49556n

I bought my TL-MR6400(eu) router in Russia and there it works great. But now I am living in Panama.

Here in Panama all providers are using 28 band (700MHz) and according to specefications (just like in reality) MR6400(eu) does not work. sad (Just writes that there is no signal, but SIM card is recognized)

On TP-Link website i found the APAC firmware version that according to specefications should works, but it is written not for the EU version.

And the question: Can I install the APAC firmware on my MR6400(eu) to make it works on 28 band? Or are there other ways to get it to work on this frequency?

Thanks.

P.S. Sorry for my bad English...

@XxOinvizioNxX

Hello, sorry to tell you that we cannot install the APAC firmware over the TM-MR6400 EU version. The firmware need match its hardware version and country version both.

The APAC firmware adds the supportability of band 28 based on EU version. As far as I know, service providers support multiple bands, not only one. You can contact the provider to verify it.
