Archer MR200 v4 bridge mode
Morning
I've just setup a linksys velop with 3 nodes to my MR200 v4
Everything seems to be working but there was a couple of drop outs. I think it could be to do with the MR200 still broadcasting WiFi and confusing the velop nodes.
I have looked online and there should be a WDS button on the tplinkwifi.net interface but I think this could be from an earlier version of firmware.
Can someone please help me with getting my v4 into bridge mode? Is it even possible? Will be disappointed if not 😥
Thanks in advance
Tom

What do you mean by saying bridge mode of Archer MR200? Do you want to connect it to the main router by wireless boost the wifi signal or it works as the bridge to work with the SIM card to provide internet?
What is the current network diagram also? Please provide more details.
Please follow the instruction below to login: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1656/
Note: tplinkwifi.net is for wireless router, while not applies to Archer MR200.
May it help.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the response.
I want the MR200 to basically receive the 4G signal only.
I have a node connected to it by cable which then distributes the WiFi signal around the house.
So effectively, I just want it to be a pass through to the Linksys Velop nodes.
I'll post up the network diagram later - just at work at the moment so I can't login to the router.
Thanks
Tom

Thanks for your reply, so you want to use the MR200 as the internet source with another device works as main router.
The most somple way is that you can disable the wifi function of the MR200 and use the velop to provide internet connection. Like you did earlier.
Good day.

I found this thread while searching on how to use my TP-Link TD-W8961N V3 as a wireless extender with my Archer MR200 V4. I do not want to use a LAN cable to connect the devices. Is this possible?
The MR200 Emulator on the TP-Link website clearly shows the option of the WDS feature as shown below...
...while my router does not show this option at all, as shown below.
Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
