PS4 not auto connecting to DECO M4

ps4 is supposed to automatically connect to internet so remote play can be used - worked perfect until i installed the Deco M4 system
Now i have to turn the ps4 on manually to enable downloads etc
anyone any ideas how to sort it out?

Do you mean you need power on the PS4 manually to connect it to the Deco's wifi?
If so, in my opinion, it is normal. One device can reconnect to the trusted wifi automatically once it is turned on. When it is off, there is nothing it can do.
If I did not get your point, please correct me and provide more information.

@Kevin_Z the PS4 has a feature that in standby it can automatically connect to the internet to download updates and games etc. Worked fine until the deco m4 set up went in. Now it's like it doesn't see the WiFi all the time like it used to so doesn't connect. When you physically turn it on you have to then go into settings an test the connection for it to reconnect
