Connecting Deco M4 to WiFi Modem/Router

I'm tring to install my new Deco M4, but keep running into an issue where the Deco doesn't see the connection to the internet and the light at the top stays red.

My modem has a built in WiFi router, does this change the type of cable that I need to connect to the Deco (i.e. crossover vs patch cable), or should the provided cable work?

I've tried connecting the cable to all ports from my modem with no luck.

I've done the typical stuff like reseting the modem, router, make sure DHCP is enabled, etc.

Any advise of help would be appreciated!

Okay, figured it out. It was a setting in my WiFi Modem/Router I needed to change. If anyone come across this, and has the same issue. Make sure to change your WiFi Modem to 'bridge' mode.
