Model: Deco P7
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

Hi

Since the latest FW update (not 100%sure this is the root cause), I can no longer see my Brother DCP-9020CDW printer on the network.

However, I can see from the Android app that the printer is connected to the Deco P7 next to it but it does not have an IP adress ("UNKNOWN").

I tried to reconnect to the wifi mesh network and connection seems successfull from printer side but still no IP allocated.

I also tried to disable the mesh functionnality with no result.

Deco P7 is configured in  AP mode.

Any idea what is going on?

Thanks in advance for your help

Jimmy

@JimmyFr

Hi Jimmy,

The IP addresses of the clients will be assigned by the main router when the Deco P7 works in AP mode.

Try to connect the printer to the main router directly bypass the Deco P7 and verify whether it can obtain valid IP address.

And you can try to forget the network profile on the printer and reconnect it to the Deco's wifi network.

Besides, you can contact the tech support of the printer to get some help.

May it help.
