Hello !

I just installed my 3 brand new P7's and surprisingly the app sees them as M5 (!). They seem to be working but I wonder whether this can be a problem, reduce functionality or it's just a cosmetic issue.

Any hint?

Thanks in advance!

Valerio

Hi,

Could you please show us a picture of it where you saw the Deco M5?

Meanwhile, is there any Deco M5 existed on the current network?

Besides, you can try to refresh the Deco app or reinstall it and then check whether it still shows M5, not P7.

@Kevin_Z   Hi Kevin,

First of all sorry for replying after so many months. Since the forum did not send me any email notification of your (prompt) answer, I assumed I've gotten no reply :-(

But let's get back to the topic. I still want to investigate why my P7s appear as M5s.  I'll send some photos and a screenshot that confirms that.

Any idea of why this is hapenning?  And how should I manage them?  My feeling is that I must always search for M5 firmware updates, I guess

Thanks,

Valerio
