Model: TL-WPA8630P KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I currently use TL-PA4022P AV600. My ISP speed is 350Mbps. I get 50Mbps in my study on a different floor although I get 200Mbps in a socket in the same room as my router.

If I were to upgrade to TL-WPA8630P V2, what are the chances I will get improved speed in my study, i.e. more than 50Mbps? Is there any feature in this product that overcomes the limitation of the electrical wiring? Does MIMO help?

Thanks in advance

@DSG

Hello, as you can see, the TL-PA4022P has the 100Mbps LAN ports, it can handle up to 100Mbps; if you upgraded to TL-WPA8630P kit, which has the gigabit LAN ports, it can handle up to one gigabit.

Compared to TL-PA4022PKIT, the TL-WPA8630Pkit is more powerful, which is AV1300. The actual performance of the powerline adapters still varies due to the network environment, powerline noises and other obstacles.

May it help.
