M9+ USB sharing

Its been 6 months since buying and using the M9+, is the USB port still a dud (apart from charging your phone, which noone with an IQ75+ would use it on modern smartphones)

I guess there will never be an update for the USB port. If there are plans, it would've done that by now.
Forgot to mention, many asked the same question 6 months previous to my purchase 6 months ago. So, 1 year later still no update, it is safe to say there will never be one. If there is any plans for the USB to do anything more mundane than charging your phone, it will be the M10+ or the M11+ or beyond.
Oh well....lesson learned.
