USB sharing is slow
Client OS: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 Build 26100.1742
Client Ethernet: Realtek Gaming USB 2.5GbE Family Controller
Hello.
I turned on the USB storage sharing function.
I tried copying with Samba.
It was very slow.
Task manager showed "Receive 62.1Mbps"
I checked "Local FTP ftp://192.168.0.1:21" as an experiment.
I tried copying with FTP.
It was very fast.
Task manager showed "Receive 1.6Gbps"
How can I increase the Samba receiving speed?

Hi,
Enable SMBv1 may help. You can also disable SMBv2, and check if it can help improve the speed.

I will report.
I tried three things.
- Disable "Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always)"
- Enable "Enable insecure guest logons"
- Enable "SMB 1.0/CIFS file sharing support"
Note: The names may be different because I am translating.
I rebooted and tried copying from the USB of the Archer AX80.
It improved from 7MB/s to 154MB/s.
I don't know which of the three I did was effective.
