Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3

Hi, I have some LSC Led Smart light bulbs, but the app seems not to recognize them as a lamp and I'm also not able to modifiy the device to be a lamp, so it's now an other network-device.

Is it possible to add the option to tell a device that it is a lamp?

I wanted to create some actions on the lamp (as a networkdevice then) to turn them on and off at specific times but the automation doesn't give the option to use the same device twice in an automation schedule. Would be nice if that would be added as well.

Thanx in advance.

@DikkieDick

Hello, below is the compatibility list of Deco M9 plus. I checked it first, the LSC smart bulbd is not included, that is why it is detected as a network device, not a smart bulb.

https://www.tp-link.com/Deco-M9-Plus/compatibility/

Therefore, I'm afraid that we are not able to make it be detected as a lamp.

For the smart action, you can refer to https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2567/

May it help and have a nice day.
