Its been months since you promised your customers to re-add this feature to Archer C6. So far nothing changed. The conclusion is you dont give a damn about the feedbacks from your costumers. If thats a policy from you, to force us to buy another router that has bandwith control function , than let me tell you something - we wont buy TP-Link ever again. Im telling all my partners and customers from now on to avoid your products at all costs. Have a nice day.

@Kevin_Z This is a really needed feature guys. Just bough Archer C6 last week (in India) but its a step backwards (although the 5G and 2.4 speed is fantastic among other things.)
The much older TPLink wireless router that I used for over 5-6 years had it and had to move to this just for higher speed.
The bandwidth-control has been disguised under a QoS which only provides a priority control.
With the big-screen 4K/8K etc TVs and HD content on youtube/Prime and Netflix etc the use-case is to allocate only the required (regulated) bandwidth to that hungry device and content while the normal devices are not starved. While priority is only to provide QoS guarantee, one device can devour the whole month's of quota in 10 days if not controlled and regulated.
Please do not remove the existing/required functionality under a newer GUI. Bring it back and do share the firmware update. I would expect it has more fancy controls, but it took me backwards on this feature at-least.

It felt like my WR741N is good enough to use today instead of this newer routers which doesn't have this basic functionality that other OEMs provide in this price range. I bought an Archer C6 (have US version in India) which is 3x the price of my WR741N, get to know they removed the functionality under new GUI. I mean "What the F is this all about?"

@hemantbeast Well E.X.A.C.T.L.Y. The Product Management Team does need to work better and be responsible for this goof-up (yes goof-up). Adding a GUI and removing the important features and flexibility has moved this two steps back when it should have been 10 steps forward. The speeds are good, but the usability is not.

I am in same situation, waiting tp-link to implement this feature that should be available out of the box...

Bandwidth Control is the most basic and really necessary feature that's missing in such high end router.
Very disappointing.
Not sure how can someone make such idiotic decision to remove this must have feature. And QOS is not alternative of Bandwidth Feature(not sure why TPLink team gives this lame excuse).
TPLink Team - Please add firmware update with bandwidth control feature for Archer A6 ASAP.
Lack of this most basic and must have feature makes this great router literally unusable.
