Model: Archer A9
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20190226 rel.62939(4555)

I have a router (Archer A9) not connected via WAN port.

It is only connected to switch via LAN port.

How can I configure obtaining time from NTP server?

I have an older router (with green web interface) also. I've set up static routing to NTP IP via my network default gateway and everything works fine - time is sychronized.

I cannot apply this "workaround" to Archer A9 with "blue" interface. Setting static routing doesn't work :(.

Is it posiible to have time synchorized with no connection via WAN port?

@TNO

What does Archer A9 do now? Please show us the current network diagram.

Generally speaking, once the A9 access internet, it can obtain time from NTP server automatically.

If you do not use the WAN connection, you can configure the Archer A9 as an access point, then the main router still works as the DHCP server and manage the whole network.

Note:You can login to the web UI of A9 and go to advanced-operation mode to change it as the access point mode;

Good day.
