Unable to manually set a specific 4G band (MR600)
Hi,
I was unable to find a setting to manually force the use of a specific 4G band.
For example, sometimes the router uses the band 20 instead of 1/3/7 which are much more faster than the 20 one, resulting in a drastic reduce in network speed.
I know for sure that with router of other brand is possible to set this option. Is it possible to enable it with a (beta) firmware update?
Thanks.

Update:
There has already been a beta firmware that could manually choose the network band.
If your sim card carrier supported 2CA, you could go to basic>internet to fix two CA bands.
Thank you!

Hi!
Any update to this? As we are facing a new norm of online school and meetings, this will be very helpful. I hope TP-Link wont get left behind, as people looking for routers will be looking for this option.
And TP-Link is asking us to use a BETA firmware?

Hi there,
I have a problem where by there are 2 masts nearby. One uses 40,40 the other uses 1,20.
On 40,40 i only get 0.3 upload, so I need to be able to specify the other mast. I've put on your beta version which screws up the UI, but have been able to successfully select the bands.
I've noticed though there are new full release versions of the firmware which fix other things. You don't seem to have included this feature in the new versions, so now i'm stuck on a beta version with which is difficult to read because the background contains test text and stops half way down the page, and doesn't fix the things the later versions do.
Are you planning to roll this feature into full release so that we can get all of the fixes plus the new feature?
Thanks
Mic
