Hardware Version : V3

Firmware Version :

ISP :

my router is placed in my home. i want to access to it with IE from my office.
but no luck.
also i try to ping the WAN ip address of the router.
but still can't. why? i really sure the WAN ip is correct.
is there anybody met this case?

Not so many devices would open the remote visit by default 'cause it would be risky for Hackers, especially devices used in public network. i think you could contact TP-LINK guy and let them guide you to change something. To my experience, there should be options to enable this.However after that, be careful for the Hacker. Cheers~

you should open ACL , the default setting of ACL on TD-W8961 is lan access , if you want access the modem remotely, you can change the rule to Both. :D
