Ezviz configuring wifi
I get an error when i am trying to link an ezviz camera to the network
configurwtion failed
ezviz has the following on their website but i dont know how to fix
Please check the following settings below:
1) Check the frequency band on your router to ensure that it allows 2.4 GHz network mode transmission.
2) Ensure that your mobile phone is on the WiFi and ensure that the WiFi network is active and functional
3) Check the network condition:
•Make sure your network has no firewall and no other limit.
•Ensure the router can distribute IP address to your device or disable the static IP setting (DHCP is enabled by default on all EZVIZ devices).
4) Reset your camera; ensure that your device is in ready mode or Wi-Fi configuration mode > then use the EZVIZ mobile app for device Wi-Fi configuration.

The Archer A10 is a dual band router, it supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz both.
The DHCP server on the Archer A10 is enabled by default; you can verify whether your smart phone can access internet from the wifi.
Besides, as the instruction on their website, you can factory reset the camera and reconnect it to the wifi network.
Or you can give it a call to their tech suppport cause they are more familiar with their products.
Good day.

Can it detect the TP-Link wifi? Is there any error message if it cannot connect to the 2.4GHz?
What about other devices? Are they working properly?
Try to change the wireless settings of the 2.4GHz, like channel, wifi name and security type.
Good day.

@Gerard69 i have the same issue. my camera was working.... then changed routers to tp link and all of a sudden my camera doesn't want to work..
i thought i can through the camera in the dustbin !
what would the problem be on the tp-link??? i have the TP-link AC750 now. it does broadcast the 2.4mhz and that is where i'm connected to with my phone and the device see the same wifi.... it runs and all of sudden stops at 90%.

Hello, are you using the same Ezviz camera? What is the model number of it?
Have you confirmed the info we have suggested above?

@Gerard69 had this issue after moving from a cisco/linksys e1200 to tplink ax3200, the solution was fully removing my ezviz camera entries from the app then retrying setup.
i had 5ghz disabled during the setup process too & re-enabled it once completed.
