MR600 - problem seeing received sms messages
I can't see my recieved sms messages in the admininistration interface even though everything else works fine.
I can see that I have recieved messages both on the Basic overview page as well as looking at the number of pages that should be availible in the Advanced->SMS->Inbox page (it displays that there are 2 pages of incoming messages but the list is completely empty). See my attached screenshots.
The Outbox and Drafts pages work fine though and display the correct messages supposed to be there as well as the correct number of pages. Also sending SMS messages from the router to my phone get throgh perfeclty fine.
In the Advanced->System tools->System Log I can see that I really recieve SMS messages. It displays for example: "USER: Receive a new gw sms and save it successfully." It also displays "ERROR: New sms count is 13."
So it seems to be some kind of bug concering just the Inbox page which is quite annoying since I need to see SMS messages to see what my provides tells me about my 4G usage status/tariffs etc.
Please advice.

I needed a way to receive SMS for 2FA as there are NO MOBILE BARS at this desk.
( Yahoo, PayPal and my purblind XXXX bank refuse to support USB keys...)
A tame 3/4 G router looked like the solution. Turn off its DHCP etc, change IP to eg ...0.120 to play nice with my network's cable-broadband modem/router, hang in nearest window that got bars, tether via lonnnng Cat-5...
The MR6400 looked ideal. I even down-loaded and studied the 100++pp PDF manual before purchase.
What could go wrong ??
Okay, to get to the undocumented 'tethered' configuration I wanted, I had to change some of the more arcane menus in a different order from what seemed logical.
But, could I get SMS ? No.
I've been sent several plain-text test messages from 'friends & family', the status counter keeps incrementing, but I cannot access them.
Then I find this thread.
A year to fix my exact problem, still unresolved ??
I can't seem to access the wonky page via Chrome console, and I should not be trying.
I'm not allowed to use beta-release drivers for 2FA stuff, especially given the lingering issues.
I've about a week's margin before this unit goes back to Amazon 'With Exteme Prejudice'...
Given 2FA codes are time-limited, I cannot pop the SIM from remote-hung router into a bars-less phone at desk...
Weep...
Come on, TP, could do better !!
( FWIW, I had a bunch of plug-in TP WiFi range extenders, soon replaced by hard-wiring. Because it was easier to 'herd cats'... )

I bought one of the best modems on the market ( MR200 v4 ), but i cant recive sms.
I'm really upset about buying this modem and angry about this serious problem.
I did not expect this serious problem from TP-Link products at all.
I used the firmware version 2019-03-22 and 2020-06-28, there is a problem in both cases.
Please solve this problem, I really need the ability to receive SMS from this modem, my job is lame now.
i from iran and i use irancell sim-card.

Got 4 messages inbound yet can't see any of them, blank window

For the SMS issue, we had the beta firmware for Archer MR600 V1 and Archer MR200(EU) V4 with firmware 200526.
So if anyone who had the SMS issue with the two models, please send an email to support@tp-link.com with subject [Forum ID 170892] problem seeing received SMS messages or @ me here;
For other models, please provide us with the following details so that we would like to forward your case to our senior engineers:
- What is the model number of your device?
- How about the hardware and firmware version?
- If the SIM card was put into the smartphone, did SMS work well all the time?
- Can you see any message under basic>network map>message? How about under advanced>SMS> inbox?---pictures attached would be highly appreciated;
- Could reset temporarily fix the issue?

The problem with the Beta for the MR600 is it doesn't have the latest fixes, as it's behind the release firmware.
Also it has the Beta banner so you can't read the screens you actually want to use, so it's definitely not an acceptable solution!

i have this problem
Most of the time I have this problem of not receiving (maybe not showing) the SMS
But after deleting [System-Log], the problem is temporarily solved, I think
but again this problem will create
I used both versions of the operating system 2019-03-22 and 2020-06-28 and there was this problem
Sometimes it works right and sometimes it doesn't.

I just wanted to say I also had the SMS issue, I bought my router about 6 weeks ago and was working fine for the first 4 weeks, then encoutered the SMS issue. I upgraded to the beta software and that has fixed the issue.
When will there be an official release?
