MR600 - problem seeing received sms messages
I can't see my recieved sms messages in the admininistration interface even though everything else works fine.
I can see that I have recieved messages both on the Basic overview page as well as looking at the number of pages that should be availible in the Advanced->SMS->Inbox page (it displays that there are 2 pages of incoming messages but the list is completely empty). See my attached screenshots.
The Outbox and Drafts pages work fine though and display the correct messages supposed to be there as well as the correct number of pages. Also sending SMS messages from the router to my phone get throgh perfeclty fine.
In the Advanced->System tools->System Log I can see that I really recieve SMS messages. It displays for example: "USER: Receive a new gw sms and save it successfully." It also displays "ERROR: New sms count is 13."
So it seems to be some kind of bug concering just the Inbox page which is quite annoying since I need to see SMS messages to see what my provides tells me about my 4G usage status/tariffs etc.
Please advice.
Best regards,
M

Hello all, sorry to respond late. We have been working on it.
We raised another beta firmware you can install to test its performance first.
After that, please verify whether you can see the message under SMS-Inbox and Basic- network map page. If the problem cannot be fixed after the firmware update, please hard reset the device to factory defaults.
Good day.
Edit: Hi all, we updated the download link of the beta firmware. If you have the same issue, you can install this firmware first. If still the same, please provide more information.
20/03/2020 Edit: we have released a new one and it has been attached. You who have the same issue can give it a go. Any updates, be free to let us know.

Just to let you know the automatic upgrade (200511 44954), did show the number of messages on the BASIC map, and could be read in the BASIC tab; SMS messages were not visible in the ADVANCED tab

Hi I have installed the Beta link ( 200331), and I can see old messages and new messages in the ADVANCED SMS Inbox section.
I can only see brand new messages under the BASIC MESSAGES map. None of the old messages appear here.
I could read both old and new messages in the BASIC and ADVANCED tabs with previous Beta I was using (200325 - 37625)
Would a factory reset make any difference to viewing old messages in the BASIC tab

Is possible that this second Beta version is older than the first Beta?
First Beta:
Archer_MR600v1_1.1.0_0.9.1_[200417-rel75138]_up_boot_2020-04-20_08.44.31.zip

There are at least three different betas available. These two are dated 14 Apr and 20 Apr, and I’m using the 17 Apr version with 4G band selection as well. Quite a week for TP-Link engineers!

Where is this attached? The link goes to a firmware dated 31st March 2020... but the message indicates it should be something around 2nd July, and the latest update available on the router is '1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n'
Latest stable firmware, '1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n', does not show SMS.
On a side note, thank you for being here to communicate between customers and engineers.
