Archer MR600 Antenna
Hi
ive just got the new Archer MR600 4G router but seem to have strange behaviour when plugging in external antennas.
When i use the supplied antennas I get an ok signal so I thought I would try an external antenna. I’ve tried both a directional and an omni-directional antenna but both lower the signal?
Is there a setting on the router to state you are using a different antenna?
cheers

I have just purchased the antenna mentioned above.
I am in near perfect location, direct line of site to mast, about 1 to 1.5km away.
Had the modem in the window, and literally replaced it with new antenna and put the modem in a tucked away corner.
I took a grab of before and after for people to see.
But IMO it works great, cheapish, does the job I wanted it for of not needing the modem in the window. Signal boost - I'd be hard pushed to say it's any different though.

can we use sma male splitter to connect to the router ?
How do we handle antennas which provide single sma male connections ?
