TL-MR6400 disconnected many times per day
Hi everybody,
My Internet left many times per day on my TL-MR6400 v4, just bought....
When the problem happened, all lights of the modem are on.
I saw many users have same problem with different models of 4G modem. I saw answers given by tp-link staff.
So I create a manual apn profile, set manual dns servers on dhcp menu (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4), check 4G connection with my phone but the problem is persistent.
Nothing appears in the system log, all steps indicate "pass" in diagnostic menu...
So I need to reboot the modem and it works again. So please help

Hi
Since Friday i only had 2 disconnects, that lasted for a few minutes. I need to say, that in comparrision with the previous versions of the firmware, this on sent to me is great.
I have uploaded all the required data in a sharedrive and the link is shared in a direct message.
I would suggest sending more persons the beta firmware as a test.
If you need more informations then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi, I had two disconnects too also this weekend. But with this firmware, it did auto-reconnect, when the service came back.
I read the readable content in the logging and saw that the 4G 'service' disappeared for a brief moment.
With the previous firmware the router did not reconnect. But with this version it did. And that is a huge improvement.
I will send all captured data today to support.

@MikeMynis I'm experiencing the same problem with internet slowing down on my router but on a different Model: Archer MR400 V1 AC1350 Wireless.
I had not experienced any disconnection problem on my Archer MR400 which many others had reported so far even with the default firmware that came with the router. Its the internet slowing down issue that is really annoying, my internet speed starts to crawl till I can no longer open any pages and I keep getting an error that my connection is reset and other errors on google chrome.
Turning off, restarting, disconnecting router from the power adaptor and Factory Resetting the Router doesn't work.
I have to replace the SIM with another SIM to return the speed to Normal.

Hi @Creeper,
I found that when changing the connection mode from 4G only to 3G only, saving it and then change it back to 4G only, helped restoring the speed.
But since you have another model, your problem could have a different cause.
I think it's best to ask @Kevin_Z to send you a new (test) firmware for your specific model.

I haven't tested that yet but when the internet speed starts to slow down, I use the 3G only mode and it looks like 3G is much more stable than 4G but I have yet to do more testing. I'll keep you updated.
Thanks for replying.
