Choose mobile operator?
Hi there
I can't see an option for it so I'm guessing the answer is no, but is there any way to manually specify the network operator, like you can on a phone?
I'm roaming and the network operator my SIM defaults to is a lot slower than another I am able to select on my phone when I manually search. It'd be great if I was able to do the same with the SIM in my 4G Router.
Thanks
Matt

Hello,
This option is not available for MR6400 (V4). Do you know if it will be available soon? It would be really nice.
I also am in roaming and the auto selection selects a network that is at least twice slower than the best one.

Hi,
Most of the time, One SIM card only has one operator, and the 4G modems(MR100, or MR6400) only support one SIM card.
So I am a little confused about what you mean to choose a mobile operator manually, I guess you refer to manually select the 4G bands, like B1/B3/B41?
--if it is the 4G bands, the official firmware of MR100 already has this feature and for MR6400 V5, we might need to use beta.
Please feel free to tell me if there is any misunderstanding.
Thank you.

@TP-Link I have an archer MR200 V1 with the latest available firmware Archer MR200(EU)_V1_180502 and I'm facing the same issue.
When roaming I would like to select manually the operator but with the firmware I don't have the option in the gui and the modem always selects an operator that is terribly slow.
Do you have an updated version for V1 where the option to manually select the operator is abailable ?
Thx

Hi,
As for manually switching the operator, you could refer to the following suggestions:
Leave the network search as auto and choose the desired ISP profile and if there Is no default one for reference, you could try to manually create a new one.
