Unable to upgrade firmware on TL-PA4010(EU) V1.2
Trying to upgrade to latest version for this model found on Israel website.
After selecting the PIB file in the TPLC update section, receive message "NVM file error"
What does this mean? I selected a PIB not NVM file.

Have you tried to upload the NVM file to give it a shot? What will happen then?

What NVM file? the one designated for MAC ? I do not wish to brick the adapter....

For the Ethernet powerline adapter, the firmware is made up of two parts: PIB and NVM. So please be assured to upload the NVM file.
Meanwhile, once you unzip the firmware, you can see 2 files, one is PIB file, the other is NVM.

Thanks for making clear that 2 files are required in order to upgrade the FW.
Once I did that, the update process started but eventually failed. As a result the adapter was no longer connected to the other two powerline adapters I have at home.
I had to reset the adapter and then rejoin the existing powerline network.
However, the utility now shows the new FW version despite the update claimed it failed.

With new firmware released, it doesn’t mean that the firmware will upgrade both PIB and NVM versions. Sometimes it just upgrades either one, PIB or NVM.
So it varies to upload the PIB file or NVM file to update the firmware.
Anyway, it is glad to hear that the firmware is up to date now.
Any further problem, please let us know.
