Unable to connect with Maxis
Hi, I'm having issue with Deco M4 setup with Maxis home fiber. I've downloaded and install the Deco android apps to setup as per instructions. I managed to get all thing done successfully just the Deco unable to connect to Internet. Pppoe user I'd and password is correct and I can connect when I revert back to my old asus router. Vlan also checked with isp which is 621. Any advice?

I'm able to setup the deco E4 mesh now. I found that the in app (both Android & iOS) setup instruction is very misleading and that caused my setup failed at the beginning. The step by step instruction asked to connect the ISP modem with E4, which is incorrect; the modem has to connect to the original router from Maxis at all time, you have to connect the Deco E4 to maxis router, not modem, that said, you do not mess the original maxis home fibre "modem+router" setup, just let it be, what you need to do with your new Deco E4 is to connect it with the original router, that's it.
Original maxis home fibre setup: Modem + Router.
With Deco E4 setup: Modem + Router + Deco E4.
Thanks to the video uploaded by OOKAS on youtube, that caption at (0:16) trigger me to try the correct setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckf-RUA7Wd4 and I finally got it right.
My Deco E4 work like a charm now, with just 1unit Deco E4 is sufficient to boost the signal across my entire appartment unit ~1350sqft.
I bought the package with 2unit E4 inside but I only setup the 1st unit E4 at living room (modem + router + Deco E4), I don't even need to setup second unit of E4 in my furthest bedroom which suffers weak wifi signal previously.
Hope this helps.

On your BTU, connect LAN2 instead of LAN1, LAN1 is for TM Unifi and LAN2 is for Maxis

Ok, if the BTU you're refering to Modem, yes, it is already on port 2. On the Deco M4, i'm also connecting to port 2. But still unable to.
However, i managed to get it done. It seems the Deco apps software for Andriod and IOS is different. The steps of setup is different. I managed to get the Deco M4 setup successfully with internet with ISO apps instead.

Hi,
Sorry to respond late, so can I say that the Deco M4 works fine now?
Did you use the IOS app to configure it with VLAN ID enabled to make it work?
Good day.
