I am hardware version 1.8, and am running the Beta firmware.

The problem is less, but I still have to power off & on the router about every day or so.

The latest beta firmware did address some BSOD's I had been getting, in response to netio.sys issues on my windows OS. However, the beta has not fixed the wireless from simply "vanishing" from view. Although it may come back, it appears to have not retained login information for the connection. But, powering the router off & back on restores it to normal operation - for a time.

Thus far, TP-Link has requested I take the router back to the place of purchase for warranty. Not really a solution since there is nothing that can apparently "break" it on demand.

they told me also to replace the unit, but i think that is not the unit corrupted itself, the firmware itself is corrupted, so no matter how many times i will replace routers unit, i still have th same problems.
they selling us a bad product to the market, so bad.

The longest survival time on the beta firmware (3.13.12 Build 121210 Rel.73912n (Beta)) is 10 days only my WR1043ND:mad:

You should feel fortunate. That is 9 days longer than the time I'm getting.

I've noticed that if I disable the wireless encryption, it is more stable.
With the encryption activated, it works between 1 and some hours then it begins to lose packages and after a period the wireless gets down and I must restart it.

Without encryption, the router was up for 7 days.
A question for TP-Link team: can this be fixed through a firmware update?

Later edit:
I was wrong. The router died because its power adapter died. I will replace the power adapter and then I will see how long it will last.

In my case, I still have those hangs and need to reboot the antenna. Some times more often like today. 4 times already. I also noticed that is taking longer since it boots and I start seeing the SSID broadcasted.
Did any of you have succeeded on stabilizing the connection with no hangs at all by changing any setting?

Hello,

I have the same symptoms with a TWR1043ND bought and used in France.
WIFI stops to work randomly.
When it happens, web admin interface is not accessible any more.
I just flashed the beta version.
I'll feed back here if the crash happens again.
