Hi,

Do you need wifi function?

FYI, all the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other, considering the current one is TL-PA9020P kit, it is suggested to use 7/8/9 series.

If you need wifi function, the model begins with TL-WPAxx can satisfy your needs, otherwise, the TL-PAxxx is okay.

May it help, good day.

Hi,

thanks for the reply, I've already purchased the TL-PA9020P Kit and want to add it to a system that has 4 x TL-PA8030 that are paired together.

The red powerline light is constantly red no matter what I do. The only time it will go green is if I remove one of the TL-PA8030 adapers and pair the TL-PA9020 one in its place.

How can I add it and get a green light on the powerline LED?

Thanks

Hi,

The red powerline led indicates that the powerline environment is not very good, have you ever tried to change another socket to plug it?

Did you try to pair the TL-PA9020 one in oen of the TL-PA8030's place and relocate that 8030? Does it work?

Meanwhile, have you ever tried to reset them and repair them?

Note: This time, you can use the tpPLC utility to pair them and give it a go.
