Model: Archer C5400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.2 Build 20170912 rel.56240(5553)

My router keeps disconnecting to the internet several times a day, it was working great for a month then suddenly for the past 2 weeks, the problems show up.  I tried below points but the issue is still not fix.

1. Place it to another power source ( just to check maybe its a power issue)

2. Restart the Modem.

3. It has also the latest firmware.

Below are some logs that i took from my tplink router :

Hi,

May I know who is your ISP?

What is the light status of the C5400 when the connection drops? Please login to the web UI of the C5400 and take a full screenshot of the advanced-status page and send it to us.

Note: How to login: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1523/

Meanwhile, can you get internet from the modem/ directly when the C5400 drops connection? What is the IP address and default gateway obtained by your computer at that time?

Note: How to check IP address and default gateway: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/838/

Besides, please follow the instruction below to do some test and tell me which case you belong to.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2237/

Thanks in advance, and may it help.

Good day.

@JonB

I also had this problem. I tried sorting this out with tp-link tech support, but that was unsuccessful.

In the end I found what worked and I get no disconnects at all now is to go into QoS setting and change every PC, NAS, Chromecast etc to a high priority device.
The only things I left at defualt were very low bandwidth devices, such as Smart bulbs, smart power boards etc.

Try that, I'm pretty sure this will sort out your issues
