Firmware Version: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 170504 Rel.68210n

I have a problem when i try to configure my wifi 2.4GHZ  i get an error code 9805 (Corresponding case not found)
what can i do?
please help me

Hi,

 

could you please show us a picture of the error message? 

 

Meanwhile, you can go to basic-wireless page or advanced-wireless settings page to change them and give it a go.

 

If still the error message, please hard reset it by holding the reset button and reconfigure it to change the wifi settings. 

 

Any updates, please let us know.

Hello,

I have the same issue. bought mine from eBay seller. Open box.

Excitingly tried to configure it as it arrived and...

Can't configure the 2.4GHz wifi. when trying i get the same error message (9805 etc) PLUS the 2.4GHz wifi channel is not visible by any of my home devices/

for over 3 hours I tried all the tricks in the book. Many of them a few times in different order/

This is what I tried:

1. turn on/off.

2. try to configure via advance settings.

3. hard reset.

4. reboot.

5. set back to factory settings.

6. make sure it is the last firmware (yes it is).

7. try to configure via different devices (mobile, laptop, another laptop).

nothing works.

Any ideas?

Thanks for that.

Yes.  The same message.

I bought it from an eBay seller.

managed to get in touch with TP-Link support. They connected remotely and confirmed that the problem is with the router itself. 

Sent it back for refunding.

Thank you once again.

hi maybe you can help me too, i have the same problem with my VR600. have tried all the solutions above.I have it for two years allready and untill now it was really OK, today it just stoped any wifi connection. 0R resistor next to yellow tantalum capacitor on pcb - Vcc line shorted to ground beyond this point. Removed this resistor, no more 9805 error, no short to ground, wi-fi working. This does apparently disable some hardware, the triple chipped circuit near the antenna connectors on the pcb seems to feed on this output for example, but wi-fi seems to somehow work normally without this voltage being present at that part of the circuit. (archer vr600, had no wireless at all and kept getting that error code whenever I tried to change settings). Resistor is located right at the output of the small smd sot-23 voltage regulator marked 209 (TPS562209, resistor is between 4R7 coil and 100uf yellow tantalum in that voltage regulating circuit. Check voltage/resistance to gnd in that resistor and confirm hardware issue on that part of the circuit and save yourself the time of trying to debug this.
