Hello!

As title suggests, I get the error code when going through quick set-up and set-up both 2.4 and 5ghz connections (I am on BT broadband). The 5Ghz connection does get set-up, however, the 2Ghz continues to not work When then going to Wireless and selecting 2.4ghz - if I attempt to make any changes and save - I get the error also however, I can make alterations to the 5ghz without any problems.

For the love of everything Christmas, please help!

Hi - has any solution been found ? have the exact same problem with Archer VR200... 2.4 GHZ is enabled, but can not connect, nor change / disable it. Same for the 2.4GHZ guest network

Only 5GHZ is working

My VR600 has started doing the exact same things as ottodeeds’—the 2.4GHz wifi network seems to have died, and I’m unable to connect to or configure it (I get the same error code 9805 message).

I’ve been in touch with TP-Link directly, who claim not to be aware of this problem (sure…), and they’ve apparently sent it to their engineering team. I suspect it’s a hardware failure, but I’m curious to see what they come back to me with, if indeed they do.

At this point, I’m going to give them another couple days before requesting a refund/replacement—I don’t expect reasonably pricey network hardware to die after less than four months’ use.
