Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi Everyone

I recently purchased an xbox one x. I am using a VR600. I have been struggling with keeping my console connected to xbox live. The console will connect, you switch it off and when you put it back on it is disconnected from xbox live. It will refuse to connect. I have reset my router, xbox etc. Nothing works. Was online with microsoft support and we tried the port forwarding and static IP. Nothing work. So I assumed the console was faulty.

I returned the console and got another one. It connects when I setup. All was fine. Put the console off. Tried switching it on a few hours later and again its not connected and just refuses to connect to xbox live.

My nat will show strict / not available. Sometimes it will say all services available but i'm not connected. I also get the UPnP error or Toredo one.

Any idea how I can resolve this? I had the normal xbox one and never had issues like this.

Please help

Seems to be the issue with your isp and is not related to any of your devices. sometimes network breakage also result in such issues. If you reset both devices make sure to update them to their latest required firmware.

Microsoft Support

I've got the same issue with the VR600 V2, and have written here a long post about this on the Microsoft Support page under my Ambassador account.

There is definitely some kind of issue within the firmware of the VR600 V2 currently when it comes to connecting to Xbox devices, as I am writing this post I am trying unsuccessfully to connect to Xbox Live.

I've gone through everytype of connection setup you can think of far and beyond what any normal end user would in the circumstances and I get the same issue everytime that it will not reconnect after being powered off.

I am also getting a 10 mbps speed which results in being unable to navigate the menu.

Can someone from TP-Link at an engineering level please investigate this issue at hand in regards to the VR600 V2 otherwise I will return mine back for a full refund as I never had a problem with my Asus AC68U before it died.

Hi,

Can you get internet from the VR600?

How do you connect the Xbox to the router? by wired cable or by wifi?

And what kind of troubleshooting you have done now?

After you powered it off, is there any error message if the Xbox cannot reconnect to the network?

What is the bandwidth  you paid for your ISP? WIth computer or cellphone connected to the router, what is the speed you can get?

Besides, what is the current firmware version?

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

I can get internet access with no issues with the VR600. I've explained already how it's connected, by DMZ normally by default as this is the best way. I've tested this extensively, again please read the post at hand. Again, the error message is either Moderate with UPNP not successful or Teredo IP issue. I've got 100/10 with Telia Finland Oyj. The firmware is the latest: 170504. Here is some data to look at from the log: 129 2019-07-04 12:24:11 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link up 100 mbps 121 2019-07-04 12:27:48 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link up 100 mbps 122 2019-07-04 12:26:42 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link down 123 2019-07-04 12:26:41 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link up 1000 mbps 124 2019-07-04 12:26:37 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link down 125 2019-07-04 12:26:32 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link up 10 mbps 126 2019-07-04 12:26:28 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link down 127 2019-07-04 12:24:18 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link up 1000 mbps 128 2019-07-04 12:24:15 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link down 113 2019-07-04 12:29:56 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link up 1000 mbps 114 2019-07-04 12:29:52 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link down 115 2019-07-04 12:29:51 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link up 100 mbps 116 2019-07-04 12:29:23 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link down 117 2019-07-04 12:29:19 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link up 10 mbps 118 2019-07-04 12:29:15 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link down 119 2019-07-04 12:27:53 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link up 1000 mbps 120 2019-07-04 12:27:49 SYSTEM Notice LAN4 link down 107 2019-07-04 12:31:34 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link up 1000 mbps 108 2019-07-04 12:31:30 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link down 109 2019-07-04 12:31:29 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link up 100 mbps 110 2019-07-04 12:31:08 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link down 111 2019-07-04 12:31:07 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link up 1000 mbps 112 2019-07-04 12:30:59 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link down 97 2019-07-04 12:34:06 SYSTEM Notice LAN2 link up 1000 mbps 98 2019-07-04 12:34:02 SYSTEM Notice LAN2 link down 99 2019-07-04 12:34:01 SYSTEM Notice LAN2 link up 100 mbps 100 2019-07-04 12:33:36 SYSTEM Notice LAN3 link down

@Dees_13

has anybody found a solution to this

ive just purchased a vr600 to replace my sky hub and it all works fine and ive enabled ipv6 ,,

every device in the house connects fine even my 2 lads xbox ones via a powerline adapter

yet my xbox which is connected directly to the router refuses to connect to xbox live either wired or wireless ?

ive moved the powerline adapter into my room and tried and straight in no problem .

so there must be some problem with the ethernet ports or the router directly letting live connect because it works through powerline adapters fine ?

any ideas thanks
