Model: Deco P7
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version: 1.2.0

I've installed a 3-pack Deco P7 a few days ago in access point mode. I've noticed a few times already all units do have a red LED and the network is not functioning at all. Rebooting the units restores the network, but this is really anoying and reason to return the units to the shop.

Is there any known issue or any way to troubleshoot the issue? Are there any log-files in the system?

Hello,

What is the current network  topology/ diagram?

Can you get internet access from the main router with all 3 Deco P7s become solid red?

Meanwhile, at that time, what is the IP address obtained by P7? With your deviec connected to the P7, what is the IP and default gateway it obtains?

https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-838.html

What is the current firmware version of the Deco P7s? And what is the APP version?

Thanks in advance, good day.

Current setup is very simple.

The main Deco P7 is connected with wired etherenet to the modem/router from the provider on the first floor. The other two units are placed on the 2nd and 3rd floor and only connected through powerline and wifi.

How can I figure out the IP-addresses of the P7's when they're in access-point mode?

The DECO's are on Firmware 1.2.0 Build 20181210 Rel. 34913

App is version 1.8.2

I figured out that the issue is only happening when one of the kids is playing Fifa 19 on his PlayStation 4 on-line. Any known issues with PS4 games?

Hello,

Thanks for your valued reply.

With the PS4 connected to the modem / router directly, do you have the same issue when playing games?

No, when connected directly tot the modem/router (or previously connected to the WiFi of the router, which is now switched off) the issue didn't occur.

Hi, thanks for you feedback.

1. May I know can you get internet from the main router when all the 3 Deco P7 become red?

2. With PS4 playing other games, do you have the same issue?  Besides, with PS4 connected to the Deco P7 by wired cable, does it happen?

3. Meanwhile, cause the Deco P7 works in AP mode, it is suggested to change into router mode to do a comparison analysis and test whether it works.

Good day.
