It is a much needed feature and whether or not it is so difficult to add magic
I would say - do not hold your breath for this or another required feature. Looking at these forums I'm starting to think that Tplink will do almost nothing what their customers want. And I think that only one thing may change this attitude - Tplink customers decrease. I think that only in such case they will start to think what they can do better and maybe only then they will look at their customers feature requests.

@Kevin_Z Hi, I am leaving the TP-Link router only for this issue! :(
It's really an issue for me when I am not able to see my "Router Up Time" and my "WAN Connection Up Time"
So, I hope I will back to TP-Link again when your updated Firmware will have these 2 essential options.
Thank you! :)

Displaying uptime is a must for any router. How can a manufacturer of routers not understand this?

@STN Not sure why they removed it from their updated Firmware.
But, I hope TP-Link will understand it soon.
Even sometimes when I face a power fault, I can't able to understand whether my Router was restarted or not!
The same thing for the WAN connection, I can't able to determine whether My ISP was disconnected today or not.
Because the router is showing the WAN uptime as well.
So, TP-Link should consider bringing back these 2 essential features into their Firmware.

bizarre that there's no uptime stats for these routers, mine being an archer a6. it shouldn't be too difficult to implement.
one good use for uptime is when an external monitor service reports a short outage, the uptime figure would help rule out or rule in the router as the cause.
