Reconnect the deco app to an existing deco network
Hi,
A quick question, how do I re-connect the deco app to an existing network without going through the whole setup again?
*background, new iPhone hence, new installed deco app.
The app keeps asking me to see if my deco LED is blue but after restarting the deco, it always goes back to green (as the network is already running). I do not want to re-do the whole mesh setup again.
Can't the deco app detect I'm on an existing wifi network and try to reconnect to the router?!
Thanks!

@TP-Link Hi! I'm moving apartments and am facing the exact same problem.
1. I had a TP-link Mesh network with three M5 routers in my past apartment. Everything worked out fine.
2. At some point, I deleted the existing network from my Deco app on my Android smartphone.
3. When installing the routers in my new apartment, the router seems to have "saved" the network configuration and is currently set up with the same WiFi name, password, etc. As a result, I am able to connect my laptop and phone to the Wifi network just fine.
4. However, I _cannot_ connect my phone's Deco app to this network. When I try to open up my app, it brings me to the "Let's Begin" page. It eventually brings me to the page where it asks me to wait for the Deco's LED to pulse blue. However, since my network is already working, the LED is solid green, and I am unable to connect to the network with my phone's Deco app.
As you've directed, I'll send a PM with my MAC address and ID.

Hi, you might need just to log into the same email ID that you used to set up the Deco.
Then you are able to see the previous network that has been bound to this email.
Thank you very much.

Similar issue here. I got a new phone and:
1. the network i setup via my previous phone still available and accessible.
2. when i tried to log in the deco app after installing it on the new phone, my email address was not registered 🤔
3. stuck in setup flow.
is there a way to connect to an existing network without resetting the whole thing?

Thanks for the feedback.
Would you please leave me a message about the MAC address of your main Deco?
Best regards.

Hi, nice to see you again.
Did you read my private message last time?
This Mac address has not been bound to any email yet.
Here are some suggestions for your reference:
1. Please reconnect to Deco S4's Wi-Fi and turn off the mobile data/VPN if there is any.
2. Close/sign out the Deco APP and log in again with your TP-Link ID
--If it said incorrect email ID or password, you might change the password once after Deco disappeared from the APP.
3. If you are able to see Deco S4 this time, please go to Deco APP>More>Update Deco to update the current firmware to be the latest 1.5.1 build 20220113.
--If there is still no Deco S4 showing up this time, I am afraid we might need to reset the Deco by holding the reset pinhole for 1s and start again.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
